[1.11.18] Unity Inspiration Hop

Happy Hop Day!

It’s time for the Unity Design team hop. There are lots of lovely new releases and so many beautiful creations to see. If you haven’t been hopping along, all the action starts on the Unity blog.

I’m focusing on the brand new sentiment kit for January… So Very Grateful.

So Very Grateful

What a great way to start of 2018. Lots of sentiments for all sorts of great things ahead… to say how grateful you were to celebrating the holidays with friends or family, looking forward to love day, a new home and just great friends.

I’m kickin’ off 2018 with a 4 card set using the So Very Grateful stamp set.

It really was easy to create this set. I stamped the flowers and sentiment in black and then colored with Copics. I only used 2 marker shades in each color. First, I started with the lighter shade and then added a bit of shadow with a darker shade for each part of the image. For the gray backgrounds, I stamped Distressed Dots background stamp in a dark gray to create the background. Then, I grabbed a paper pad and added a bit here and there with a bit of string, washi tape or some Nuvo dots.

Thanks for stopping in, hope you were inspired to create something similar. If so, I’d love to see. You can share in the Unity Show & Tell group and tag me.
