Assemble This! Card and Sketch no. 9 + Video
Hello My Friends…
Time for a new sketch don’t you think? Today I’m playing with some of my Paper Smooches stash. I don’t bring them out enough. They are my second love and I plan to use them more this year. You really shouldn’t ignore your stash of supplies, right?
I have a brand new Assemble This! Sketch for this week too. Hope it inspires you. Keep it in your files for future use or use it now. I love this layout. Pretty sure I’ll be using it over and over again.

I’ve created a quick video tutorial on how this card was made. You can watch it below or on Youtube.

Oh, these flowers in that vase!!! I can’t handle how much I love them. There is just something about a blue mason jar that makes me happy. Really, it could just be the water or the jar could be blue, it doesn’t matter. The coloring effect is the same and it really makes my heart happy.
I used Copic markers to color the flowers and jar of this image. Really simple coloring. Maybe 9 markers in total. NINE markers to make this beautiful image. Seriously, it couldn’t be more simple. You’ll have to watch the video on how easy the coloring is too. Barely any technique, just using a few colors per color family to create a shading effect. THIS is the type of coloring I love. Quick and easy. I can totally do that and so can you.
I finished up the card design with a bit spark from a Wink of Stella glitter pen and sequins. Pretty sure I can’t finish a card without some type of sparkle. These are the perfect addition.
Thanks for joining me today. I hope you are inspired by today’s project to create one of your own.

Beautiful, Lisa! I love how you coloured this PS image, and the way you backed the main panel with patterned papers is perfect.
