Creating a Butterfly Background Faith Card | Distress Inks + Video
Quick Peek…
Before I get to today’s project, I just have to give you a peek at the brand new Unity Stamp Company sentiment kit for May 2020 – Hello Sweetheart Bouquet.
Don’t you just love it to pieces??? I can’t wait to play with that pretty floral bouquet.
BUT, I’m not ready yet. I have one more project to share using the Trust It Will Be Okay – April 2020 sentiment kit. Ready for one more inspiration?

The Project
The Details
I just can’t put this stamp set away quite yet. There are so many ways to use it.
This time, I stamped it multiple times to created a patterned background. Then, I grabbed some warm colors of Distress Inks in Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon Worn Lipstick and Spiced Marmalade. Such a warm and loving combo of colors.
The video show how I blended the colors into the background and all the accent pieces too. I love how it turned out and I hope you do too.
Assemble This! Video
I’ve created a quick video tutorial on how the background was made using stamps and Distress Inks.
Thanks for joining me today. I hope you are inspired by today’s project. If you create something, I’d love to see it. Join us in the Unity Show & Tell Facebook group to share your card and tag me.
