Quick and Easy Sunflower Birthday Cards

Oh Sunflowers…

I’m excited about the new Unity Stamp Company sentiment kit release. It has this gorgeous sunflower as the main focal image. I have an easy layout to share with you. Just by switching it up a tad, you can create two very special cards.

The Card

The Details

This is just a fun layout and so easy to create some quick cards. I’m just layering two panels behind that big sunflower from Sunflower Wishes. One strip of patterned paper and then a strip of numbers stamped using the Just a Number Background stamp. One set of layers goes from top to bottom and the other is trimmed down to float in the middle of the card. Both are fantastic looks and I added a bow with black burlap string as an accent before gluing down the layers.

I stamped those flowers on Bristol paper and colored them with Karin markers (Rose Pink, Canary, Ochre, and Cinnamon). Then popped them up on the card. I cut out several “happy” die cuts from Blessed & Happy Everything and layered three together with liquid glue. Once dry, I glued it to the center of the sunflower. So cute, don’t you think?

Next, I stamped 2 birthday sentiments from the Sunflower Wishes stamp set, trimmed them out, and popped them up as well. Just to finish it off, I decided to add a few black enamel dots too.
