Classic Eeyore Card Set | Inside and Out Inspiration

It’s Eeyore…

I’m am so excited to have a Unity Stamp Company Eeyore sentiment kit. Eeyore is my absolute favorite Winnie the Pooh character. Mainly because I relate to him so much. Haha. Sandhya drew this amazing image to capture the classic Eeyore and I was asked to add some Eeyore inspire sentiments to the kit. Since I adore this little guy so much, it was easy to think of what he might want to say.

I can’t wait to share the set of cards I created with the new An Ungloomy Day stamp set. I hope you’ll love them too.

Card no. 1

The Details

How absolutely adorable is this little guy? Eeyore has such a gloomy demeanor with a bit of sunshine always poking through. I love how the butterfly was included to portray that hope. Such a perfect pairing.

I colored this guy in with Copic markers: C1, C2, C4, V12, V15, V17, YG17, YG60, B0000. I also added some simple scribbles to represent grass with a regular ballpoint pen. Nothing fancy.

There are so many sentiment options in this set that are perfect for the front or inside of the card. I don’t do this often, but I was inspired by all the great options to complete the inside of the card too. I just picked a fun sentiment to match the hello greeting and added a few butterflies as an accent. Super simple to do and I love how it matches the front of the card.

Card no. 2

The Details

Did you notice those fun polka dots? They are from the Lotsa Blots background stamp. I couldn’t decide if I wanted light blots or dark blots, so I did both. Problem solved. Then I just used some pattern paper and the scallops and rectangles dies to create some layers behind the Eeyore panel. The layering makes me happy.

To complete the inside of the birthday card, I used the birthday sentiments and added a sweet little balloon from Party Mix. I love the way it adds something special to the inside of the card as well.
