Storybook Eeyore Birthday Card

Happiest Day of the Year…

 Unity Stamp Company has the most amazing classic Winnie the Pooh line of stamps and this week we get to see Eeyore. He is my favorite character of them all, so I couldn’t wait to stamp him out for a birthday card.

The Details

Not just one stamp set, but TWO! I combined Your Eeyore and the fabulous An Ungloomy Day Eeyore stamp sets for this card. They work so well together. I felt like Eeyore needed a birthday balloon for this card so I looked to the Party Mix for the perfect balloon. It makes me so very happy.

I stamped Eeyore in Copic-friendly ink and then colored him with the following Copic markers:
Eeyore: C1, C2, C4, 100
Balloon: BG10, BG11, BG13
Grass: YG12, YG17
Background: B0000, 0

I had this idea in my head of a storybook look and what better way to achieve that than to include the More Cake Background. I love this background stamp, I use it all the time. I just masked off my stamped image and stamped the text over the top. I love the bookish feel.
I also created my own little star embellishments using the Falling Stars background die. I love that this die can be used in so many ways.
