A Simple and Fun VW Bug Birthday Card

Vroom, Vroom…

This fabulous VW Bug stamp is released later today at Unity Stamp Company. There are so many great stamp sets in this release but who wouldn’t smile at getting a VW bug card? It is such an easy stamp to create with… all it needs is just some simple stamping and coloring for a great card.

The Card

The Details

Best Destination is so fabulous. I love all the detail in the stamp is there, you just have to color. I pulled out my Copic markers and had some relaxing coloring time in front of the T.V. which is one of my favorite things to do.

Here is the list of markers I used:
Car – R22, R24, R29, N1, N3, N4, 100
Sun – Y000, Y00, Y11
Sky – B0000, B00
Road – C0, C1
Grass – YG13, YG17

I added a few details of my own just using a ballpoint pen. I drew a little heart on the license plate and then added the grass details. I love the sentiments in the kit, but I am all about building up birthday cards right now, so I grabbed the happy birthday sentiment from An Ungloomy Day.

Did you notice the subtle type on the blue background paper? I thought it would be fun to add a bit of text with the More Cake Background. I layered everything up and called this card done. So cute and so easy.
