4 Beautiful Cards Using Karin Watercolor Markers with Unity Stamps

Are you curious about Karin Watercolor Markers? I have a set of beautiful cards to share today that feature watercoloring with Karin Brushmarker Pros. Even if you do not have Karin watercolor markers, you can use your favorite watercolor medium to get the same results.

I’m also using the new Unity Stamp Company sentiment kit for July 2022 – So Kind, So Caring, So You. I am feeling that vintage, grungy and floral vibe. Karin watercolor markers are the perfect way to add color to this fabulous floral stamp. I’ll share my process for coloring with Karin Brushmarker Pro pens and how to use this one stamp set to create 4 different cards.

Blue Flowers Sympathy Card

Blue flowers are so very lovely and very soothing for a sympathy card. I love this sentiment – “Thinking of you during this difficult time.” Just a simple little saying to say so very much.

Karin Watercolor Markers: Artic Blue, Cyan, Sulpher Yellow & Lime Green

Special little detail: Add a little bow and a few clear dew drops to give the card a bit of movement and texture.

Purple Flowers General Wishes Card

I’m trying to incorporate purple into my coloring repertoire. These turned out so lovely and they really pop against the contrast of the green background. “Warmest wishes today and always” is such a wonderful sentiment. Perfect for a birthday, wedding, anniversary, or any happy occasion.

Special little detail: Pop up the frame. It adds subtle interest to the card with a little lift of dimension.

Peachy Red Flowers Supportive Card

Peachy florals are really my favorite and a go-to color combo. I love how they look against the green background as well. So different from the purple ones. Card are like hugs and this sentiment “A hug is folded into this card” is going to get a lot of use.

Karin Watercolor Markers – Soft Peach, Rose Pink, Orange Red, Sulpher Yellow & Olive Green

Special little detail: add some shine. I love the hot foil background and sequins. If you don’t have a hot foil machine try heat embossing a background stamp instead.

Purple-Blue Flowers Thank You Card

Well, hello two-tone flowers! How pretty is the combination of blue and purple? Do you love it too? That big thanks is one of my favorite styles and the size is perfect to fill the card.

Karin Watercolor Markers – Pale Violet, Artic Blue, Lime Green & Olive Green

Special little detail: Add a different kind of foil shine. If you don’t have a foiling machine or laminator, the adhesive transfers are an easy way to achieve this effect with your die-cutting machine.

Bonus tip: adding the velum behind the sentiment makes it easier to read against the busy floral background.
