Color with Blending Brushes PLUS Foiling with Stencils

It is NEW Release time at Unity Stamp Company and there are some fantastic new stamps. I had to start with my favorite. I’m sharing how to create this card featuring these two fun techniques: easy to color with blending brushes and using a stencil to add foil to your cards.

The Card

The Details

That’s a whole lot of lovely there. I started out with the gorgeous Newsprint Floral Greetings background. My new favorite way to color is with blending brushes. I love how quick and easy it is to do.

Technique Tip: use different sizes of blending brushes for larger and smaller areas.

Add some shine with foil! The sentiment was done with NO HEAT transfers. You just need to add pressure with your die-cutting machine. Next, I used transfer gel with a stencil and a laminator to add another dimension to the background.

Technique Tip: for NO HEAT foiling you can also use DUO transfer gel without a laminator. After it is dry, you just apply pressure with your die-cutting machine.
