Double Stenciling with Otter Little Things

The Details

How adorable is this little guy? He’ll definitely brighten anyone’s day. I’m probably going to use him for one of my niece’s birthdays by adding the perfect birthday sentiment to the inside. I colored the stamp using Copic markers. I kept it pretty simple with just 2 tones per color family.

Copic Colors:
Otter: N1, N3, R20, R 22
Flowers: Y00, Y02, Y18 & Y38
Grass: YG13, YG17

Technique: For a fun background, I layered 2 different stencil patterns in similar tones of ink. The clouds are stenciled with a softer turquoise and flow into the otter scene inside the heart. Then I layered the polka dots just in the background in a darker turquoise.
