Stretch Your Background Stamps with Partial Stamping

Hello Friends! Unity Stamp Company has a special pattern paper release starting today. They are not only beautiful but they coordinate with some lovely stamp sets as well. I thought I would play with them today and pull out some background stamps too. I have a fun way to get more use from those big background stamps with partial stamping.

The Details

All my layers are from the new Simply Natural paper pack and they coordinate beautifully with the Simply Blessed stamp set. The cool teals and krafty gray colors are right up my alley. I grabbed my new favorite Deckle & Stitches Nesting Dies and die cut several of the patterns in different sizes to layer together.

Then I added my stamped images. The beautiful vase of cotton and eucalyptus and sentiment in a dark brown. Then I used my background stamps and only inked up a portion of them to stamp on the layers. It adds a lovely effect to the papers and stamped images. To help those little fluffy cotton tops pop, I added a bit of white pen accents.

Pro Tip: To unify the look, all the layers are ink blended around the edge. This will define all the layers plus coordinate all the different patterns and colors beautifully.
