Feeling Clucky

This delightful chicken, illustrated by the talented Angie Blom, just begged to be bursting with color. I stamped her onto some cardstock and couldn’t resist grabbing my Distress Watercolor Pencils to start the fun. I carefully chose shades that would complement the patterned paper layers I planned to use.

Ever find yourself in a creative rut? I sure do! That’s when I love to step outside my comfort zone and try something new. Originally, I was going to keep this charming hen on a crisp white background, but inspiration struck, and I decided to add some ink blending. The result? A wonderfully colorful and dynamic card that really makes this fabulous chick shine.
