Vertical Florals with Subtle Ink Blending

For this card, the delicate line art flowers are stamped along the side of the card, creating a striking vertical focal point. The soft green ink blending at the base of the flowers adds depth, while the yellow watercolor brings the blooms to life.

What I love about this card is its versatility. You could easily turn the layout horizontally and stamp the sentiment above the flowers for a different look. The ink blending and simple watercolor technique keep the design clean and elegant while making it perfect for quick thank you cards.

Creative Tips

• Blend ink lightly at the base of the flowers using a circular motion to create a soft gradient effect.
• Use a water brush or small paintbrush with water reactive inks to quickly add color to the flowers.
• Try stamping the flowers in a different ink color, such as dark green or brown, for a softer, more natural feel.

Framed Floral with Layered Elegance

This design features the same beautiful floral stamp but framed within a soft ink-blended square. Using a stencil makes creating the square a breeze, and the light green background allows the yellow blooms to stand out beautifully. The sentiment is placed just below the frame, adding balance and simplicity.

What I love about this card is how the layers, created with stitched and scalloped dies, add texture and dimension without a lot of extra effort. Like the first card, this layout is incredibly flexible, letting you easily swap out the sentiment for any occasion.

Creative Tips

• Use low tack tape or a grip mat to secure your stencil for clean, crisp edges while blending the square background.
• Switch up the color palette by coordinating the ink blend and cardstock using pink or blue.
• Add a touch of shimmer to the flowers using a glitter pen or metallic watercolor to elevate the finished look.
