You Are Wonderful

I had so much fun with this layout. That big beautiful butterfly really shines layered over the dreamy, vintage-inspired pattern paper. The colors are soft and textured, and the background does a lot of the work with minimal effort.

I used a die to only partially cut the bottom of the butterfly so it could lift slightly off the card. Then I added just a bit of ink smooshing for soft color variation and used a paper scrap at the top like faux washi tape with two little staples for texture.

Creative Tips & Techniques:
- Ink Smooshing for Color: Lightly dab Distress Ink with water over your image to create variation and softness.
- Scrap Paper as Faux Washi: Save those extra strips. A torn edge and a staple or two make them the perfect little accent.
- Try Fussy Cutting Instead: If you don’t have a die, just cut around the butterfly edge for a similar effect.
I hope these ideas spark your creativity and bring a smile to your face. Techniques like partial die cutting and layering scraps are such a fun way to stretch your supplies and get a unique look every time.
