A bird and a tulip
I love to combine challenges and when I can combine two of my favorites, it is so much better. This is for Kristina’s Color Challenge #52 and the Sweet SundaySketch #18.
Again with the mustard yellow… oh so tough for me. But I had this cute glittered chipboard tulip and figured I had to use it.
I started by just trying to find some cardstock in the color pallet. I found a DCWV mat stack I bought years ago and never used. Out that came, perfect timing. I also found some dotted My Mind’s Eye paper that went well. I had the tulip and it needed a friend, so I stamped the little bird in mustard ink and then layered him on top of the cardstock to cut him out again. Used my Cuttlebug swiss dots folder for the sand paper and also to cut out the labels. Came together pretty easy, except for all the cutting errors! Luckily I had extra cardstock in that mat stack!
