Chocolate, Rose, Mustard and White… oh my.
So I decided I wanted to try my hand at the Mojo Challenge this week, plus using K Werner Design and Caardvarks for inspiration. Here is their sketch.
I turned the sketch sideways and came up with this.
For some inspiration on colors, I used the Color Inspiration #51 from KWerner Design. What a color combo, chocolate, rose, mustard and white!!! And I thought #50 was a challenge. Yellow is really not a color I enjoy, but I needed some inspiration so went with it.
The front of the card is trimmed about 1 and 1/4 inches so it reveals the striped paper from the inside. The challenge at Caardvarks this round is to use a quote or saying, so I searched my stash and found this one from Close to my Heart. The stamped circle flower image has some liquid glass on the mustard inked areas to give it dimension. The top background of the card was ran through the Cuttlebug swiss dots folder and then I had to ink the dots with white since Bazzill does not have a white core for sanding.

now see, when you say, “chocolate, rose, mustard and white”…i am thinking “OH MY indeed!!!”…but then when i see THE CARD (which is inarguably made entirely from those colors) it’s ♥GORGREOUS♥…so i guess you can’t judge a book by it’s cover…OR by it’s title! 🙂 (loooooooove this!)
