This is was a very quick card… less than 30 minutes. Took me longer to photograph and post it then to actually make it.
I loved the Sweet Sunday sketch this week. Something about the circles just said “fun”. I looked to the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge for color inspiration. This week’s challenge was to go monochromatic with our cards with cream or white cardstock.
I have been on a butterfly kick, so pulled out my punches and went to work. I chose pink as my basic color and cream cardstock. The scallop circles were ran through my Cuttlebug houndstooth embossing folder. This is the first time I used this folder. I think I’m going to have fun with this one. I finished it off with a strip of ribbon. I thought about putting a sentiment on the card, but felt like it would look too crowded or get lost, so I left it blank. I think it could be used for many different occasions this way.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
