sketchfest friday…
TGIF!!!! Today is casual day at work and day six of the Caardvarks Sketchfest challenge! Time to party!
I think this has to be my favorite sketch from Heidi Van Laar this week! It just really matches my style and as soon as I saw it this morning, I knew what I was going to do!!! I even had the card made before I went to work! Course, waking up at 5 am helped.
The little scalloped squares are popped up and punched out of some patterned paper. Actually, now that I think about it, it is the reverse side of the teal paper. How cool is that!!! The ribbon is tied with string. It won’t fit in a normal envelope, so I think I will have to put it in a 5 x 7 envelope or it will have to be given envelope-less. I found these cork letters quite a while ago in the clearance bin at Michaels. Can’t believe I waited so long to use them. Don’t you think they are sweet?
I hope everyone has a super Friday!!! Only two more days of Sketchfest… I don’t think that is enough!!!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
