sketchfest sunday
Am I ready for this? I sure am. Today starts the week of Caardvarks’ Sketchfest 2009. This is going to be a huge challenge for me. Am I really going to be able to make 7 cards this week? Ohhhhh, I really hope so and I plan to do my best. I have high hopes, but I work during the middle of the day this week and it is going to be hard to come home and try to get a card done at night. But I say “bring it.” Wish me luck!!!!
This is for Day One of Sketchfest. I flipped the sketch horizontally. I recently bought a new Spellbinder nestie (Labels three) and finally got to use it today. I embossed the “happy birthday” with clear embossing powder so it did not photograph very well.
Today was a busy day. We celebrated my cousin’s birthday this afternoon with some yummy mexican food. We live about 30 minutes from what I call “town” so I try to combine trips if we have to go in on the weekend. So hubby and I left the house at 7:30 am this morning and didn’t get back till 2:00 pm. I finally sat down to make this card at 3:00 pm. Amazing how the day just flies away. Back to work tomorrow. Hope everyone had a great weekend.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.

Fabulous card! You had me when I noticed you had lifted the card panel on foam dots! I’m addicted to those things and they’re perfect for layering with those Nesties! Absolutely beautiful and sweet card! 🙂
