sketchfest tuesday…
Yay… day three of the Caardvarks Sketchfest challenge. Today, I decided to try the “sketch out a card in the morning and stick with it in the afternoon” plan again. I stayed pretty true to my sketch this time, I didn’t have to throw it out the window.
I had lots of fun with this one. I love owls and birds of any kind I suppose. This is one of my most favorite owls. He actually comes on a branch of his own. That gave me the idea of creating a branch that spanned the width of the card. So I free handed a branch and placed my cut out little guy on his new home. The happy birthday is embossed in another free handed little bubble. I’m thinking I could actually use this as a masculine card since there are no ribbons, buttons or bows.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
