It is Friends with Flair {FWF} Friday at UNITY… a day full of inspiration from Unity Stampers.  The list of participating Friends with Flair hoppers can be found at Angela’s Unity Blog.  Just a hint… someone has a secret blinkie that could win you some awesome Unity rubber!!!!

The stamps are from the Unity June 2009 KOM.  I love, love, love this tree.  When I first saw it, I immediately thought about a Christmas card.  Then I proceeded to forget about it for a while.  Silly me.  When I was flipping through my stamps this week I found it again and clapped my hands (ok, maybe a little squeal slipped out too).  I stamped it on kraft cardstock and then embossed it in white.  I love how it is featured on top of the swiss dotted circle card base.  I think the splash of aqua ribbon just makes it look crisp and wintery.

I can finally play along with Caardvarks again!!!  I had to take a bit of an absence since times have been busy.  I love this challenge for a circle card.  Circle cards have been difficult task for me in the past, but I LOVE how this one turned out.

I also took inspiration from the Flourishes My Favorite Things (yip, the song from the Sound of Music) song challenge.  We are to take a line from the song as inspiration and I choose brown paper packages tied up with strings.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
