happy little bird…

This is my first time entering a Get Sketchy challenge.  I have been following them for awhile but seem to always seem to run out to time before I can play.  Maybe I follow too many challenges.  Hee hee.

I used some awesome Limelight Papercrafts items in this card.  Including my new favorite paper pad Early Bird.  The stamped image is from the Unity Stamp Company November 2009 Store kit.  I have been wanting to use this one for forever.  Doesn’t the little bird look happy hanging out under the trees.  I’m thinking he must be having a good time.  I colored it using Prismacolor pencils.  I know most people like to use smooth cardstock and Gamsol, but I used textured cardstock and like how the texture shows through.  Something different.
