Etsy Inspired #75 – Spin Designs

This week’s Etsy Inspired shop is Spin Designs.  What a fabulous little shop.  They make some gorgeous jewelry.  I was inspired by this piece… mainly because I just love owls.

Our sponsor this week is Dustin Pike, the creative mind behind Doodle Dragon Studios.  Dustin creates some fabulous cartoon doodles… from dragons, to elephants to owls.  Yip, I said it, owls!!!  And I used his cute owl for my card this week.

The card base is cut from a Spellbinder Labels One Nestabilites.  The background is stamped with some green dots.  The brown section was embossed using the Distressed Stripes embossing folder.  I colored the owl with Prismacolor pencils and finished it off with some string.  May I dare say this could pass for a masculine card???  I hope so, I need one soon.
