Tag You’re It and 25 days of Tags

We have a special week happening at Tag You’re It!.  Design Team member Tracey has been hosting a 25 Days of Christmas Tags on her blog and asked the TYI team to play along.  OF COURSE we wanted to play along!!!  So, I have two projects this week using the tag inspiration.

Inspiration: Oh that lovely double tag tied with a pretty bow… Maureen’s card is just beautiful.  I love the layout of this card and used it as a sketch.  I also loved the flower detail and the polka dots on the patterned tag.

I started out with my two tags.  I had a scrap piece of white cardstock that I had embossed with swiss dots.  Hmmm, seemed like a good time to use it.  I layered the pink tag on top and tied them together.  I used my Pixscan Cameo mat to cut out the flower, colored it with Copics and popped that up as well.  After much thought, I ended up stamping my sentiment on that center strip of paper and finished off with some sequins.

And now for my Christmas tags… cuz this inspiration is just perfect for the Christmas season too.

I decided for these tags to go for some cuteness.  I’m still in love with the double tag idea from Maureen’s inspiration.  I mimicked the patterned paper behind and tied together with some string.  The little reindeer are colored with Copics and accented with a Wink of Stella glitter pen and some Glossy Accents.
