[11.9.2014] wanna sketch no. 21 reminder

Yay, you all are rockin’ out this sketch. I am blown away by all the amazing ideas. I want to see MORE, so keep them coming. I’m back with a second take on the challenge, ready?

When my Picscan mat arrived, this deer was the first image I cut out. I just couldn’t wait to try out my new Cameo toy. I colored him with watercolors, let it dry and then used my Cameo to cut him out. Then, I promptly forgot about him. Ha. So, he has been sitting on my desk for weeks, just waiting for his turn. Well, his time has come for this week’s reminder.

I grabbed some more watercolor paper and created the ombre background with some blue and green watercolors. Once it was dry, I spritz it with some shimmer. Then, I added some twine and sequins for the elements in the sketch.
