Let’s Promote Unity and Love

Racism and inequality are injustices we cannot forget to fight just because it isn’t in the news right now. We cannot go back to our lives with our blinders on and choose to ignore the division.

This new year is all about Unity. I’m so hopeful for a new beginning and a chance for healing and awareness. A chance to CHANGE things and to reshape our world into a loving world full of acceptance.

The Project

The Details

I chose the beautiful United by Love stamp set for my card today. It is a lovely symbol of equality, love, and unity. I stamped it with Gina K Amalgam ink and then colored it simply with Copic markers. I chose a rainbow of skin colors. This world is full of history and beautiful cultures. I love how this image allows us to celebrate and represent them all.

Copic colors used: W1, W3, E00, E000, E31, R20, R21, R22, BG34, Y13

Once I was done coloring, I die cut that down into a stitched panel. Behind that, I stamped the Love Story background. To add a depth of color, I blended on some Hickory Smoke Distress ink.

Then I just layered everything up and added a little twine bow.
