Easy Inky Coloring with a Q-Tip

Today’s card is all about coloring stamped images using ink blending and a surprise household item. There is a brand new Winnie the Pooh release at Unity Stamp Company and it was the perfect image to try this technique out.

The Details

This Winnie the Pooh image is just the sweetest. I adore how they are inspecting those footprints in the snow. It came together quickly with some easy ink blending using a finger blending brush and a Q-Tip. Check out all my tips and the entire process in the video below.

Bonus idea: You could switch up the sentiment and theme with a beach footprint scene.

Technique Tip: Saturate the Q-Tip by picking up ink and gently rubbing it on a scrap piece of paper. This will make for a smoother blend when you go to color your image.
