Hello there! Candy canes in July? Um, yep. Lol.
Today I’m sharing two holiday cards bursting with peppermint charm and playful style using the Hero Arts Candy Cane Season Collection. A little Christmas in July is in the making. I leaned into nontraditional colors, modern design, and clean layers to capture those sweet holiday vibes.

Merri-Mint Moment
This card is all stamping and die cutting with a splash of gold to make things sparkle. I started by layering the candy canes with pine sprigs, holly, and that sweet pink bow with a hint of heat embossed gold. The sentiment is stamped in navy and tilted slightly for a playful vibe. Everything pops off that deep navy background and the colors feel fresh while still giving off holiday cheer.

- Nontraditional color combo: Navy, coral, and blush keep it festive but fresh
- Bold layered sentiment: Heat embossed for texture and shine
- Sweet stamped clusters: A pink bow and candy canes arranged with greenery
Peppermint Skies
For the second card, I used the Candy Cane Toss Up layering stencil to create that fun candy cane background. I blended two coral tones to give the canes depth and dimension. The bold sentiment stack is heat embossed in gold with navy shadows to make it stand out. I finished it off with a touch of foil gold and navy cardstock at the bottom to tie everything together.
