Getting into the holiday card making spirit yet? The October Merry Era Hero Arts Studio Club is here, and World Card Making Day weekend feels like the perfect reason to play!

Oh my goodness, this month’s Studio options are so fantastic. It’s full of retro vibes, sparkle, and bold designs that feel totally different from the usual Christmas stamps. I mean… a disco ball ornament? Yes, please. I love when a kit lets me step away from traditional red and green and just play.

I ended up with two cards… one pastel and sweet with a big bold sentiment, and the other full of glittery disco shine. Plus, I’ve got a JAM Sesh video for each so you can watch the sparkle come together.

Merry Everything

This giant Merry Every Thing die is such a favorite. It is a bonus for those who are Whole Studio Subscribers. I stacked three of the kit’s cardstock colors for a layered pastel look and added a strip of matte gold for a touch of fancy. The background is scattered with hot foiled polka dots with Aura foil. Just enough shine without taking over. The color combo isn’t your traditional holiday palette, but I love how playful and festive it feels.

OK… how cute is this disco ball? I had to go full sparkle with glitter and holographic papers from Your Paper Insider Box 12, and it turned out so shiny. The background got a soft ink blended star sparkle pattern, and then I added that big pink bow on top. It’s such a fun twist for holiday cards.

Creative Tips & Techniques

Disco Ball Die: The star of the show, literally.
Glitter + Holographic: Shiny layers that make it sparkle like crazy.
Fun Sentiment: Deck the halls with disco balls… yes!
