Cozy Comfort with a Pot of Soup

This soup pot had me immediately. It is such a fun image to color and there are a bunch of mix and match pieces in the kit to build the perfect comfort scene. I used alcohol markers to give the pot that rich enamel look and then softened everything with patterned paper for a little kitchen charm.

Copic Colors: R24, R27, R29; E51, E53, E57; N1, N3, N6

Up close you can really see how those tiny hands steal the show. They wrap around the pot like they are handing over that comfort soup and those patterned sleeves just make it feel extra sweet. The soft green background adds texture without making things busy. It all comes together into a simple card that feels warm and homey.

A Big Squishy Hug Wrapped Around a Heart

This one wraps itself around your heart. I used the heart and arm dies in a completely different way and let them become the hug that holds the whole design together. That bold red heart sets the stage and the patterned paper arms stretch across it like a warm embrace. The squishy hug sentiment finishes everything off with the sweetest touch.

A closer look shows how the soft plaid sleeves give this card such a gentle snuggly feel. They wrap around and over the heart. The background paper keeps things light and cozy and the whole card feels like comfort you can mail.
