Chip Chip Hooray for Fun Cards That Guys and Teens Will Love

Today’s cards are all about making something fun for birthdays and celebrations, especially cards for guys and teens. I’m loving the chip theme in the new All That collection by Hero Arts, and it felt like the perfect starting point for playful designs that celebrate those people who are truly all that and a bag of chips. Chip Chip Hooray

This card starts out by creating the potato chip background using the Snack Attack Layering Stencils. I stenciled the background chips using two different yellow colors, which gives the background movement while still feeling clean and simple.

The chip bags are die cut and shaded with the layering stencils to add quick dimension. I stamped the sentiment, die cut it into a circle, and layered it over the red bag to anchor the design. A few extra die cut chips scattered around the card bring everything together and keep it feeling fun and casual.

Salty Texture Fun

This card leans hard into bold color and texture right from the start. The Crackle Paint embossing folder adds that crumpled, imperfect texture that instantly feels like a real chip bag. It gives the background personality and movement without needing anything extra, and it sets up the whole card to feel graphic, playful, and a little cheeky.

The chip bag from the Snack Attack Die Set is the main focus, stamped with Wide Stripe Bold Prints for that classic chip bag look. The stripes feel familiar and fun, and they really pop against the textured background. I finished it off with a loose scattering of die cut chips, which keeps the card feeling relaxed and not too polished. It’s bold, playful, and exactly the kind of card that works so well for guys and teens.

These two cards are such a great reminder of how much personality you can get from one simple idea. Playing with bold color, texture, and a few well placed details made it easy to create designs that feel fun, graphic, and perfect for guys and teens.
