Favorite Challenges - Sweet Sunday Sketch

a black, white and pink birthday

Oops, I have so many friends and family members with September birthdays, I really should have started making cards sooner. Oh well, guess that just means I’ll just *HAVE* to spend more time in my scrap room.  I used the Sweet Sunday Sketch #32 and Caardvarks color combo of black, white and pink for this birthday card.

This is a fun sketch from Karen.  I’m going to have to keep this one handy for the future.  I just love the half circle element at the bottom.  It is just perfect for a little sentiment.

This is another color combo outside my color box, but I love it.  I am going to have to practice with this more too.  The flower is a 3-dimensional sticker from K & Company.  I have noticed some really pretty new sticker sets and these just make card making a snap!  It matched the DCWV cardstock perfectly and I love how the sparkle pops against the black cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
