summertime birthday
Card Positioning Systems has an awesome sketch this week. I couldn’t wait to get out my supplies and start to play around with it. I decided to replace the boxes on the left side with trees. The cloud background, the middle tree with the bow and the happy birthday banner are all popped up for dimension.
I think this card has such a sweet summertime feel. I have been wanting to use this cloud paper from K & Company for awhile, but just hadn’t quite figured out how. Two blogs, The Pink Elephant Challenge and Cute Card Thursday, both challenged us to create summer themed cards this week. The clouds and trees just say summer to me. The clouds have a glossy feel to them, which is hard to pick up in the photo.
Lastly, Stamp Something challenged us to create a birthday card. My favorite kind of card to make. I always seem to need one and this month is no exception!
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
