Use up your LEFTOVER Distress Oxide Ink with Reverse Stenciling

Today’s card is all about using the leftovers from a stencil. We don’t want to waste that beautiful ink and this is a fantastic way to get a “twofer” card as well from the Chatty Hearts stamp set and stencil by Unity Stamp Company.

The Card

The Details

While I was making THIS CARD, I had all this oxide ink staring at me and I didn’t want to waste it. I wasn’t sure what I would do with it so I grabbed a piece of white cardstock, spritzed my stencil with water, and smooshed it down. It looked pretty darn neat so I repeated that with the second layer of stenciled hearts.

From there, I just started to play around to see what I liked to create this birthday card. Make sure you check out the video to see that beautiful sentiment come to life.
