Today’s card features the beautiful Unity Stamp Company August Kit of the Month: Phases. There are so many amazing stamps to choose from. I picked a few of my faves to create a really cool hazy night scene. Let’s create this magical moon night sky with some simple ink blending.

The moon made me do this! I really wanted to create a glowing moon night sky for that owl. I grabbed some wonderful Gina K Ink cubes and brushes to make the background. It came together wonderfully.

Ink Colors: Slate, Lemon Drop, Plum Punch, Tranquil Teal, Blue Denim, Black Onxy (GKD)
Creative Tip: Use vellum to tone down a background. The background was vibrant and colorful which made seeing the owl a bit difficult. By stamping the owl on vellum, you can still see that glowing moon but the owl is now easily seen.
