How to Elevate Your Layers with Background Stamps

There is just something about torn layers that makes my heart happy. So simple to do and it adds just the perfect rustic touch. The wood background was stamped and colored with Distress Ink {saltwater taffy & pumice stone}. Then I stamped the pussy willow background and colored it with similar Copic colors {R20, R22, W1, W4, G21}.

Design Tip: Did you notice the subtle embossing folder texture in the background? Another fun way to elevate your layers.

Bonus Card

I had a bunch of scraps left over and used them to create a second card! This one is a bit simpler but still is just as beautiful.

Design Tip: Check out the Scalloped & Stitched die set from Unity. So many sentiments fit in these strips and then you can accent them with a fun scalloped border.
