Background FUN! Smoosh, Stamp & Lunar Paste! {video}

Hello Friends! Lots of inky and stamp fun to be had today! Did you know you can stamp with Lunar paste? You sure can and it is surprisingly easy. I’m all about laying Distress Oxide inks, stamps, and Lunar Paste for a beautifully grungy background.

Wild & Free

This year I made it a goal to use my messy products more. It’s time to bring out all the Distress Oxide inks and start smooshing. Due to their chalky matte finish, I decided to use oxides instead of regular inks. I thought it would be a nice contrast against the shiny Lunar Paste. I’m pretty tickled about the combo. Make sure you watch the video for all my tips and tricks to build up this background and how to stamp with Lunar Paste.

Distress Oxide Colors: Broken China, Speckled Egg, Shabby Shutters, Dried Marigold, Hickory Smoke

I ‘cheated’ with the texture behind the stamped images and used pattern paper. The patterns matched my background colors beautifully.
