Monochromatic Snowflake Duo

These two cards are all about keeping things simple yet striking. I filled the background with repeat stamped snowflakes, then blended in soft color over the top. The stamping creates such a pretty texture, and the ink blending completely changes the mood depending on the shade. A few splatters of white metallic paint add that snowy touch, while the holographic white confetti cardstock from Your Paper Insider Box 1 gives the die cut snowflake behind the sentiment just the right amount of sparkle.

It’s the kind of design that feels effortless but looks polished, and it’s so easy to switch out the colors for a totally different vibe. Both cards are finished off with popped-up sentiments, making them ready for winter greetings or holiday wishes.

The pink version just glows with warmth. The background feels cozy and cheerful, almost like the soft light of a holiday morning. I love the contrast of the bold stamped snowflakes with the delicate scalloped border—it keeps everything feeling light and festive.

Distress Ink: Saltwater Taffy

The blue card captures that fresh, frosty feel of a winter morning. I blended in icy shades over the stamped snowflakes, giving the background a crisp, wintry vibe—almost like looking through a snow-dusted window. The panel is set into the corner of a soft blue mat, which frames the design so beautifully and makes the snowflakes stand out even more. Clean, simple, and full of sparkle, this one feels perfectly frosty.

Ombre + Layered Vellum

This card is all about letting that big snowflake shine. I stamped it, blended in a soft purple with blue glitter pen details, and then fussy cut it out so it could take center stage. The shimmer is subtle but adds such pretty depth, especially with the snowy white splatters sprinkled across the background. Every little detail comes together to give the snowflake a frosty, magical feel that really makes it pop.

The background fades from deep plum into soft lavender for a dreamy ombre effect. To soften it even more, I layered torn vellum across the center, which gives that frosted look and makes the snowflake pop. A simple sentiment finishes the design, and the whole card feels like a snowflake glowing in the moonlight.

Distress Ink: Shaded Lilac

Snowflakes just never lose their magic, do they? I love how one stamp set can create so many different looks with just a little color and sparkle.
