Golden Glow Gratitude

Don’t you just adore the Love & Gentle Days stamp set? I stamped it onto smooth cardstock {or use watercolor paper} and watercolored with soft pinks and yellows. It feels gentle and romantic and just a tiny bit nostalgic.

Next came the kraft background. I stamped Distressed Dots in two tones so it has that subtle layered texture that feels worn in the best way. I even pressed the leftover ink right onto the journal page so everything feels tied together. The bold sentiment from Say It Loud & Clear pops so beautifully against all that warmth.

I hand-cut the journal page layer and inked all the edges and the kraft background. Layered them together and then I flicked on some gold watercolor splatter because you know I cannot resist a little sparkle. There is a hint of gold on the flowers and the tiniest golden heart on that sweet tag.

There is just something about a vintage watercolor thank you that feels like a warm hug in paper form. The cozy kraft, the glowing florals, that little kiss of gold. It is simple, heartfelt, and so very lovely.
