Chirp Up! Sweet Spring Layers and a Sketch

Hello, friends. If spring is not quite springing your way yet, this little cutie just might do the trick. Today I’m sharing a spring layers card using a darling new release from Unity Stamp Company, plus a new Assemble This! Sketch to inspire your next creation.

Simple Layers, Sweet Charm

This sweet bird from the Chirp Up! stamp set completely stole my heart. I stamped and colored her with markers, keeping the tones soft and cheerful, then tucked her right into a die cut heart so she feels extra special. The heart becomes the whole focal moment. Behind her, I blended in gentle clouds using the Cumulous Cloud Stencil, which adds just enough dreamy texture without taking over. It is simple, but it feels like fresh air.

Copic Colors:

• Chick: Y02, Y18, Y38; V12, V15, V17
• Swing: E31, E33, E37
• Butterflies: RV21, RV23, RV25

For the layers, I pulled patterns from the Swing Into Spring Paper Pack. I framed the heart with stacked BIG Scallops & Rectangles die cut panels, then covered the background in that springy floral. I finished it off by placing the Chirp Up! sentiment in the bottom corner.

And because I loved this layout so much, I turned it into an Assemble This Sketch for you. Save it for later, flip it, rotate it, swap the heart for a circle, tuck in a sentiment strip. It is such a fun starting point to create with your stash.
