Today’s card is all about silhouette stamps that are perfect for simple stamping and ink blending. The beautiful border of wildflowers from the Unity Stamp Company April Whit Kit is perfect for a quick and easy card.

The Card
The Details
This ink blend reminds me of a dusky sky that should be filled with fireflies. I was hoping it would go nicely with the wildflower silhouette stamped in a dark brown and I wasn’t disappointed. I started with a blend of yellow in the middle and then slowly moved out with two tones of a greenish-blue. Once I was happy with my blend, I dropped some water splatters over the top and let it dry.
Once it was dry, I stamped a light layer of the Linen background in the same greenish-blue and then the wildflowers in a dark brown. The scallop rectangle framed it perfectly and finally blended around it and the card base to bring it all together.
Before adding the sentiment and string, I added white pen highlights to the flowers and twinkling fireflies to the sky. Plus a few gold sequins for good measure.
